Gregory Peck and Matthew Moss are creating the as yet unnamed Hotel in Cooper Square as an innovative marriage of modern design and luxury service reminiscent of the Grand Dame hotels of a bygone era. The distinguished new Hotel will transform one of DowntownÕs ManhattanÕs most vibrant neighborhoods, Cooper Square.
Located on the border of the East Village and NoHo within close proximity to SoHo and Union Square, the Hotel will serve as an iconic beacon of timeless elegance and Downtown sophistication. Drawing from the historical and cultural depth of its immediate surroundings, the Hotel will become the Downtown mecca where unique and diverse personalities from around the world come to eat, lounge, sleep or gather to exchange ideas, just as the authors, musicians and artists such as Jack Kerouac and Thelonious Monk did within these same blocks many decades ago.
